What are the US Nationals?
Three events comprise the annual US Orienteering Championships: Sprint, Middle and Long Distance.
All three days are sanctioned as National Ranking Events by Orienteering USA.
Standard national age classes will be in effect for all competitive courses as defined by OUSA Rules , except for M18, M20, F18, and F20 in the Sprint and Middle races. For these races, M18, M20, and M21 will run on the Blue course; F18, F20, and F21 will run on the Red course. This is to accommodate the JWOC and WUOC Team Trials participants. Each age group will still earn championship medals. There are no course adjustments for the Long race.
